-Plugging In-

The first step is plugging your headphones into whatever device they're going to be used for. This can either be a CD player or mp3 player or laptop or whatever specific device they're being used for.

It's pretty simple. The end that goes in the device will either have a round or straight tip on it. Once that tip is plugged into the hole on the device, it should be fairly easy to know if is has been inserted correctly.
-Choosing some music-

Once you've picked out what you think is a good selection of music, go ahead and start listening! Make sure to choose something you like so it doesn't get too annoying and make sure nothing distracts you while your listening.
-Using the Skip function-

If you find your music selection's too long for your liking, you can skip to the next song using the skip button. Make sure to hold it down for a couple of seconds until you hear a 'click' sound as this is indicating that it has been activated.

The next time you want to skip forward, just do so again. This will help get through those long songs much quicker without being bored by your CD player or mp3 player ringing out.
-You may have missed a song -

Sometimes after a few minutes listening, you may have missed some or all of one or two songs before reaching your musical ideal. This isn't a problem.

There are two ways you can go about doing this. The first is to fast forward to the part you want by holding the fast forward button down for about three seconds.

You'll get a 'click' and the next time you listen, it will automatically go to that place. The second way is pressing play after you've hit skip and having it play from that spot.
-Using your volume buttons-

If you're listening to your music and find it too soft or loud for your liking, don't worry! All headphones have volume controls right on them!

It's just a matter of finding where they are on your specific pair of headphones. They are usually located on one of the earpieces, either on the inside or outside. It's fairly easy to find and adjust on most pairs.
-You've reached your destination-

After you've gotten off of the bus or train or whatever vehicle you were listening to your music,

you'll need to take out your headphones so as not to get them ripped out accidentally. Be sure to take them out carefully since they may be kind of tangled by now.
